Fundació Pere Tarrés

The Pere Tarrés Foundation (PTF) is a not-for-profit educational and social action organisation with over 50 years’ experience which is dedicated to promoting leisure education, volunteering, improving social interventions and strengthening associations. The prestigious Fundación Lealtad (Loyalty Foundation), which analyses the country’s most important NPOs every year, recognises its management’s transparency and good practices.

The PTF is one the most prominent social initiative entities specialising in leisure education in Catalonia . The PTF is open to society as a whole. It originally promoted leisure education for children and young people, but has opened up to many other areas in on-going education.

The basic principles which characterise the PTF are: its social, cultural and educational mission and its roots in and commitment to the Catalan language and culture and inter-cultural dialogue.

Fundació Escolta Josep Carol

The Fundació Escolta Josep Carol (FEJC) is a non profit educational organization founded in 1997 from Escoltes Catalans (EC), the Catalan secular scout movement association.

Our mission statement is to promote the education of children and youth in a responsible citizenship and in the Catalan secular scout movement’s values (solidarity, responsibility, critic spirit, honesty, respect, social commitment and nature defence).

RAI (Recursos d’Animació Intercultural)

Intercultural Animation Resources ( RAI, in its Catalan acronym) is a non-profit organisation, assembly-run and independent, founded in Barcelona in 1993. The global RAI project works for social, cultural and educational transformation and it offers young people a great range of local and international resources.

The objective is to promote youth initiatives by young people to ensure social change within a local and globalised society, focusing on the values of interculturality, peace culture, participation, sustainability, activism, creativity. RAI pursues social involvement through promoting citizen activism in Barcelona as well as participating in projects in socially and economic underprivileged milieus.

CRUC (Coordinadora Rural de Catalunya)

Coordinació Rural de Catalunya (Rural Coordination of Catalunya) is the daughter of many years of associationism and non-formal education experiences, in the local and international fields. It is devoted to the youth and rural world.

Rural areas of Catalonia have still important lacks which make life in these areas a life of unequalities, specially when we are talking about young people, associations, leisure, international activities, trainings, youth policies... That’s why CRUC works to put these resources and oportunities in the hands of young rural population.
